Great idea, are these gravel roads doable for a non-off road expert on metzeler tourance tires? If you have trips, could you share them on here? I'm allways looking for new trips and roads.

    Aren't we all?

But because the average Belgian citizen is so tight he can barely stand the noise of his neighbour breathing, it's not a habit to share off-pavement rides on the interwebs. Before you know it, all good lanes are closed cause we're disturbing the beetroots.

Good gravelroads aren't a problem on Tourances, given it's dry. It will get interesting when you hit the mud though. :evil

That said, I've been exploring around the 1st Wing Airbase yesterday, excellent condition, given all the rain we had lately.

I understand the hesitation of giving out routes, i have a few shortcuts in my gps (tripy), but nothing spectacular. Where I live (coast) there is almost nothing offroad to do. And since I have to do 1-2 hours of highway to get to the interesting stuff, big block tires like the heidenau's our metzeler karoo are not an option.

I prefer to share on live, let's meet and drive, we can try to focus on a region for a week end and then met, drive a little, have a beer, making a barbecue and drive a lot next day...

The tourance are not really a problem, even in the mud. with our big bikes it's just a little bit harder to put it upright :D

@Bart, you bring the dafalgan :evil

At all, it's maybe the advantage of our country, even living in opposite parts of the country, we can met in a few hours.

    So, let's mark a week end ?

hmm, let me know months in advance if possible, and I'm in. Jugling a busy job with a wife that works on saturday and a 1 year old is not that easy. Oh and preferably less difficult then the bloody belgium thing I've seen on here. My GS is not that nimble, and neither am i.

Hi I am not so far away in Luxembourg, riding an F800GS, would love to hear of any rides in the Lux / Belgium areas, especially if there are any offroad tracks involved :)
