Very nice! I've been thinking about the Kriega OS-12 Combo for my Berg 390. Did it some with the exhaust heat shield?

What Mosko setup did/do you have and how does it compare to the Kriega OS Combo setup?

I have been waiting on the Mosko R15 and now it has been changed to a R10 and doesn't sound like it will be available until September-ish. I was thinking about just biting the bullet and buying the Mosko R40, but it is really more space than I'll likely need for day use. That's when I started looking at the Kriega OS Combo. I could run the 6's on the sides for day use and if I want to pack for camping I could use either the 12's or 18's on the sides and use a 6 on top. It seems like a win to me, but I feel like I'm missing something since the price is a lot less than the Mosko.

FWIW - I've had a Giant Loop Mojavi and no interest in going back to one. I simply don't like the zipper setup.

@jdubb75 I am running the Reckless 80 on my 701 with racks, this is mainly used for long trips etc, the Mosko gear is very impressive and can not fault it to date. The R80 fits all my gear for extended touring/camping, the only thing I have in addition is a small tank bag for electroincs and a backpack with 3 ltr camelback, goggles, spare gloves..hat and light items etc.
I have the Kriega OS 12's for the 501 as they can be filled for multiday trips and half filled and compressed for day trips where I only carry tools, tubes and snacks etc.
I can add a roll bag for the mutiday trips to the Kriega no problems.

I can't rate the Kriega gear high enough. Some of it is over 7 years old and no wear and tear or leaks or anything with the US bags.

I don’t run a heat shield. Heat shields and racks are for moderators and whackers!

The Kriega stuff is brilliant. I have crash tested them plenty over the years.

I don't want to derail the 570 thread entirely, but if you have any pics of the whole Kriega setup with the 12's mounted on your 501 could you post a few or direct me to where they might be?

We don’t mind derailing in here mate. We have mods posting pics of boats and the likes in here. :hmmmmm

Anyway, luggage is part of the Husa for the high country.

What I like about the likes of the Kriega setup is as Bruce stated, you can mix and match for what you are up to ie, short ride, day ride, multiday etc. I’ve put mine down the dirt road thinking that when I pick the bike up the luggage will be the worse for wear. Nothing. I’ve been very impressed. You can keep weight low.
