After a workshop manual to rebuild my G/S, which one?

Where is the best source/s for this and parts?

    Any help appreciated,

Clymers or Haynes. Clymers has about 4x as many pages.

I used the Haynes for years until I found a good price on the Clymers at a swap meet.

If you're doing a rebuild I recommend both. Read the relevant sections from each for slightly different perspectives.

And then post here with pics and questions.

Oh yes, Infra's, Raven's and other threads here should also be required reading. x3300's ORGS thread is outstanding for inspiration.

Also, buy the Bing carb manual from the Bing Agency in Nebraska.

And take some time with Snowbum's BMWtech site. Way too many words and HTML formats but good info can be found. And Anton's website can be invaluable.

If you can get your hands on back issues of the Airhead club magazine for Oak's gold then do that.

And Matt Parkhouse's gold in MOA is equally as good.

    How's that for a start?

Looking forward to your build thread.

    Just start right here!

Get the manuals, read them, and then just ask this group any possible question. You'll get not only the predictable answers but also some great alternatives that you hadn't considered.
