Hey everyone, I'm looking for the best insurance company to insure multiple (right now, 4) motorcycles with.

Currently I have progressive, who does not offer any discount at-all for multiple bikes on the same policy... it simply doubles, triples, and quadruples the cost.

I'm in Georgia if that makes any difference to who I can have as my insurer...

Ironically, that is not my experience with progressive. In fact, for a small herd of bikes we have Progressive was 54% cheaper than the next insurer.

When I added a third bike to my progressive, my rate went down $2.00. They even sent a refund check of $2.00. I do pay a bit for the first one though being fully insured.

Cool trick if you have collectible bikes is antique and classic insurance. You can put it on bikes too!

The company I sell for doesn't do a discount for multiple bikes like they do for Multi car.

I have my bikes with Geico. Geico also has the "winter storage" discount that runs from Oct 1 to May 1. If you've taken the MSF Course they have a discount. I get over $100 in discounts each policy.

I get a discount with Progressive. In fact, they lowered my MC rate when I added my boat to the policy. I've found that if you call them, as opposed to doing it online, you can get the negotiate a bit. I have two bikes (DRZ400 and Nighthawk 750) with full coverage for $190 a year.

My experience calling Progressive matches yours. Friends (all in WA state) told me stories of how adding a 3rd bike cost almost zero but when I called (I had three bikes at the time and am in OR) there was no such discount for the third bike. Each bike was maybe 5% cheaper than I was paying with State Farm but the guy on the phone was beyond oily.

Also, there is no substitute for calling around. Insurance varies massively by state and personal circumstances (crime rate where you live, age, driving history, marital status, credit score etc etc) that asking for data from others on the net is pretty pointless.
