Whitetop mountain, VA
A great day for a ride along Tomales Bay. As bucolic as this may appear, the infamous San Andreas fault runs along the bottom of the bay. The Bay meets the Pacific ocean about 10 miles north of where I snapped this pic, which is also where Sir Francis Drake may have dropped anchor thinking that he had entered the mouth of a river.
Excellent composition and execution this is the best photo I've seen in a long while, thanks for sharing!
