@Misery Goat - that's a great pic, really like it.
I want to assume the landscapes were seen via motorcycle. The bike was in other photos. Don't think every photo requires the bike. Who doesn't enjoy nice scenery.
Rode all the way from Arizona or?
Gotta figure out if my Vrod will be able to make it down there without making huge modifications. Ted Simon's book and your photo are very inspirational.
NYC day after Christmas....
I hope you rode through Route 33 in WV/Virginia when you were here. One of the best runs I ever faced on the east coast...
I came down this ridiculous dirt road called Long Run Rd that brought me to 33 from the north, ran 33 twice in each direction, then headed south off 33 on Skidmore Fork Rd to Flagpole Knob and Reddish Knob. Absolutely loved it down there.
By your description it seems you clipped the end of 33. But I also hit 33 back and forth I came from harrisonburg Virginia however. need to make/take another roadtrip there.
I just rode the section from Rawley Springs to Brandywine that day and 2 days later I rode the section by Judy Gap.

And now for something completely different....
That's pretty flat, mate.
Thanks, I think this photo satisfied my desire to maximize the capabilities of the little point and shoot I carried on my trip.
Yeah we have a lot of flat
Which point and shoot do you use? Thinking of giving up my DSLR equipment and move to something like a RX100. Would love to get shots like these
