Does HPN get new airheads from BMW or are they reworking used engines?
You'll forgive me if I don't quite follow you. This bike was built in '84. ISTR that airheads were still current back then.
The HPN website shows several different airhead-based rally bikes and "Prices on request." I didn't know if they were only modifying used bikes or getting a supply of new airhead engines and parts.

No, it's not Skye; although I can see why you might have thought it was the Cuillin Ridge. It's not my pic - you'd need to ask dougs650 if you want the correct answer as it's his pic.
My guess would be Nevada or California.....
