    Dumb question...

Just put mine on tonight. Fit and finish seem very nice...no leaks.

My question is how / where do you tie it up / cinch it up? I assume I will need to plan on dropping the skid plate for future changes, which gives me plenty of room for getting the filter out and even checking the screen. Can I tie the CJ piece to the gas crossover line? It seems that just letting it hang naturally has it rubbing against the R/R which I would think would be risky for melted plastic... I could run it around the front under the battery box and cinch it up to the gas crossover line with a zip tie...

What's the best way to do it?

    Anyone got any pics?

    Thanks.

By the way...my screen looked like someone had just dunked it in fresh oil...super clean...

I didn't get a pic of that in my new report. :( I'll try and update that Mon.

I swung it to the back of the bike and Zip-tied it to the oil return lines under the engine. I had plenty of clearance there between the line and the skid plate. I always drop my skidplate anyway to swap filters so I don't find it anymore work than normal. Just cut a zip-tie. Drop the hose over your pan and let er rip. Zip-tie it back up for the the next 5,000 miles.
