    As of last saturday...
Parts of the lower divide ridge are open, but road is closed (new gate) before you can connect to Applewhite above Mountain Lakes. Everything above that is closed with more new gates. Expect Applewhite will be closed for awhile as a few sections were washed away completely in the last storm (Feb?) I'll bet Sheep Creek is passable and you could probly get a bike around the gates. Watch out for rangers.

Hoping to get out for a big bike ride on sunday.
Most likely mtns because it's gonna be hot. Maybe not a lotta dirt, and what there is will be easy.
Just want to burn off the last < 1/8" of rear 908 and give a funky front tire one last chance for redemption before it goes in the bin.

Knocked it down to under 1/16 after lots of spinning. Pretty useless on any gravelly surface, but still kinda worked on regular dirt, thin sand, and hard pack (of course). Gotta plan ahead and leave plenty of time for braking.

Super nice in the mtns both days this weekend (hiking sat, riding sun). Lots of people escaping the heat down below. Next weekend is gonna be nutty.

I started a new job at a motorcycle dealership and I'm off various Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays now. I've been having a hell of a time finding people to ride with midweek. Hit me up if you get lonely, lol.

Anyone up for a night ride to check out the meteorite shower tonight. Road or dirt works for me. Supposedly best viewing with a north view between twilight and moon rise at 11PM.

I'm thinking of going up the 39 azusa canyon to watch. There's a nice flat part all the way at the top.

I have a group of friends going up to Mount Pinos was a big telescope so I think I'm going to ride up there. Enjoy! Feel free to come up to the top of Mount Pinos parking lot. I believe there's some sort of observatory up there. I don't know much about it and I'm just tagging along. I can send a pin to whoever texts me once I get there around 6 o'clock.

Hey guys! I finally got a "little" bike, Husky TE450. Looking for rides to dial this thing in and get me back in the dirt. It has been a long time.

I'm thinking about riding out of Baker into the north side of Mojave Preserve. Aiken Mine, Cima Dome, Sunrise Rock, Rileys Place, then fuel at Cima Rd. / I-15.

Return to Baker via Halloran Hills , Halloran Springs, then easy powerline back to Baker. Dinner at Mad Greek after the ride. Saturday might be better for this one.

Saturday will work for me, but Baker is a bit far for a day trip. How about somewhere closer?
