I hear 690s have shite turning radius, so you're probly not doing anything wrong :lol3

Already riding saturday. Can't get out sunday as well, but i'm sure to be doing local rides with my dad soon. TG weekend likely.

Never taken a car to the track before (other than a parking lot auto-cross). Appreciate the offer, but i'd be happy just to oggle. Slowly getting my teener back to road worthy and I need motivation to keep moving forward :deal

Anyone want to go for a ride this weekend. Also in the four days after Thanksgiving I'll be up in Pioneertown and I was hoping to ride to Big Bear through Burns Cyn. Anyone up for that?

I will very likely be riding this weekend.
Probly just local, Cajon Pass area, with my dad.
Not sure which day. Both look fairly good.

I can either bring my GSA or my oKTM690E. I'd much prefer the KTM so I'll bring that unless you recommend the fatty. I've never ridden out there so you tell me what the day will be like and if you have any recommendations on stuff to bring and I'll be there. I can handle intermediate trails at Hungry Valley so you know how to gauge the ride. Im 48 so I don't bounce as high as I used to.

I'll pm my phone #. Shoot me yours just in case I can't find you for some reason. Looking forward!

    Def bring the KTM :nod
I will probly be on the 525 unless some maintenance doesn't get done today, then I will be on the 950.
Riding is mostly forest service roads, some 4x4 sections, some rocks, maybe some whoops if we pass thru an OHV area.

Maybe lunch at Summit Inn or Toni's (Lake Gregory)?

Def riding tomorrow. As mentioned before, 8am at the Lytle Creek Chevron.
If anybody is driving out, I think you can park a truck around there.

A bit gloomy today, but tomorrow supposed to be nicer, and some moisture in the ground will be a welcome treat.

Ran into tech difficulties with 525 maintenance, so I will be on the 950 as well.

I've got all day and may use it if the mood suits.

Wondering what the snow level is and whether we'll be reaching the freezing temps. What's the elevation we'll be riding at?

See you all up there at 8, but I'll be hauling the bike so I'll need a few to unload and gear up.

Looks like predicted snow level is >8k ft.
I do not expect to see 6k ft tomorrow, probly max around 4~5k ft.

    Wouldn't worry too much :nah
It has been 4 yrs since we saw anything like this in the Cajon Pass

Wow. What a day. As I always say Matt's rides never disappoint. Perfect weather and amazing trails. Some (I) never been before trails through fall colored forest. What a nice ride.
And I've seen one of the best big bike action right before my eyes. Matt and Marty tearing up Baldy trails side by side right in front of me. Sliding every corner right and left like a synchronized riding duo. Wish I had my GoPro with me. It would have made a great footage.
80 miles dirt and no dust at all. Great traction. Jumps, slides, the whole nine yards.
Thanks Matt for an other great local ride. Thanks Eric, Marty, Rob and new noob Glen.
