Anyone interested in a Big Bear Octoberfest Ride on Oct 20-21st? Small bikes leaving from McD's on the 15 to BB all the fun (hard) ways. Spend the night in BB after hitting the fun/drinking and then ride back the next day or too hung over, just load up and depart from BB.

Those that have girlfriends/wives can have them drive up and meet us. We can hotel/motel it or camp somewhere.

Here's the rules, there are none. :rofl

I will be working that weekend:cry

I plan on going up the afternoon of Oct 2nd and coming home the 4th if anyone is interested. Going to do the cheap motel and ride the piss out of my bike.

There is some really cool single track up there and thinking to tackle some of the John Bull/White Mountain stuff. Bringing a new tube of Quicksteel just in case…...

JB is easy on a MC and only the rock garden on Gold Mountain has a degree of difficulty.

To make JB harder do it in reverse from East to West.

Actually E2W has a pretty steep and rocky/boulder climb in the beginning, but pretty easy after that. Gradual down grade with some boulders, but nothing major.

lol I didnt even know you could run JB W-E lol I have only done it bench pressing my 530 from E-W, that STUPID waterfall whatever it was, Facking bitch with a Dunflop 606 at 20lbs...

Bastages with trials tires were just walking by.. As far as Gold Mt, I love that hill, I dont know why but I find it super fun, maybe its becasue I can keep some speed and have a greater choice of lines vs what JB has to offer..

I also think it would be WAY Easier W-E for sure, going down would not be hard at all compared to going up "I think" lol...

Hopefully im healed up and will see you guys, no way I will be in good enough shape to knock out GM, JB, RR and Mohr... But im sure I could manage a GM run and then head to Pioneer Town for some beers lol...
