Thanks for the info Slow. From the stuff I've read your not slow at all! Just pretending so you can lure us noods in and then kick the shit out of us :lol3 ! Anyways. . . okie1 dont be concerned about the pig thing! I've done most of the trails down there on a KLR. Not a pig like the GS, but heavy non the less. So no problems. Maybe the job thing will change and I can make two trips down there this year. If that happens, and your still on board, I will be there.

I am considering going down the second week of January. I just bought a new GSA and it will be delivered sometime after New Years. I am going to attempt to get the first 600 on it quick so I can go on a trip in the second week. I will let you know if we are going and when we will be down.:clap

Thinking about heading out the afternoon/evening of January 6th, I don't usually get in a real big hurry so should be there by noon. I'll be camping at Chisos Basin with no real plans except to ride and take it easy for a few days. May even take a run up to Roswell, NM one day.
All depends on work so I won't know for sure until a couple days before the 6th.

Enjoy your ride okie1. Be sure to check out Charlies new place in Roswell when you go. Its a eating joint / truckstop on the north side of town. Suppose to be really good. My co-worker highly recommends it. But hes a harley rider / truck driver so be careful. Those guys will eat anything :huh!

Now about these bikes you be renting. What kind of insurance do you carry? Is it the good stuff? Am I gonna be thrown in jail if I wreak one? If not, then I've got a smoking deal for ya . . . . I'll just park mine and then procede to beat the hell outta one of yours :lol3 ! :p3rry

A group of around 15 ADVers will be in the BB area on Feb. 9-11th. From the Dallas & Ft. Worth area. I am planning on riding with them on my new 09 GS. Or my 01 GS, decisions, decisions. We will be based in Lajitas on Friday and then onto Marathon for a Sat. night party.
