I posted up an overnight camping trip on MotoIdaho.com. 3 people signed up, 2 of the 3 bailed and that left EffenSteve to join me.

Here comes EffenSteve now pulling into Big Nasty Land. This is about 5 miles from my house and it's on the way. Good place to start. 3 miles down the road the pavement ends. :thumb

About fifteen miles down the road we come upon this: Neat huh? No, not the tree. The brown spot at the bottom. It should be obvious from the professional photography. :D It's a big scary bear. :yikes Okay, it was only a small bear. But it was in the desert in a creek bottom about fifteen miles from the nearest forest. Weird place to see a bear. :confused

Okay, I promise my pictures will get better now. Looking down into the Council area.

Steve trying to explain his pink camera choice. Sure Steve, it's your daughters camera. :rolleyes

We left the lookout and headed north to the next view into the canyon. This was on the way.

Hat Point Lookout above Imnaha, OR is way out there on the horizon to the right of the picture.

We headed back through Cuprum and a few miles out we found this:

Well today is the 14th so we're golden right?

    Guess not. :dood

I guess beer-thirty came too early on Friday the 13th. :lol3 :beer

So we thought we might try something like this:

But instead, Steve chickened out and followed my route. :lol3

While I may be trying to explain a pink camera and case, I think you all should that tough ol Trailrider 383 has a DR 650 that has been named Tinker Bell:rofl If you ride with him for any length of time make sure you either lead or keep a good 200 yards off his dust trail or you'll think Santa's coming early this year:lol3

Nice Ride and photos! Are these roads suitable for a GS? (A bit of a challenge is ok) The Coucil Cupram road and the Kleinschmidt Grade looks like fun.

The roads we took were in the best shape I've ever seen for Idaho. They were almost eerily smooth. Smoother than most of Idaho's paved roads. :lol3 No problem for a GS.

Oh crap, I didn't distort the view of my license plate. I hope I'm not a victim of identity theft or something worse. Please don't open a credit card in my name or something. :loco Sorry Steve, I think yours is legible in the pic above too. :lol3

Here is Steve firing up the portable meth lab.

The view the next morning. That is some glass smooth water there.

And the award for "Laziest Fisherman At Black Lake" goes to this guy. The lake is 300 yards across and he has to fire up a noisy outboard to get across. I'm not sure it's even legal. I'll cut him some slack if he is handicapped or something.

    The old schoolhouse at Bear.

On the way home we went by No Business Lookout.

And that wraps up my pictures. Steve has some more. :ear Oh yeah, here is the world's shortest KLR video.
