What ! you’ve binned bike 5 before it’s even hit the tarmac! Oh ye of little orange faith
I didn't say it was Bike 5!
You must have a good eye for road bikes.
Big Adv bikes seem to be heading down the same evolutionary path as 4wds. Putting aside oil leaks, reliabilty and whitworth bolts, we did have capable off road vehicles off the shelf 30 years ago, and look what they turned into:
Heavier and less capable. But bucket load more sales features. That must be what sells
I thought it was nice of him to put the Tiger in as a goodwill gesture
Shiny trinkets. Gets em every time, just ask Capn Cook .
First find me a reviewer who is not biased...
He’s done the ADV diversity and inclusion course...
Pick me, Pick me
I was a bit concerned of what I would follow once the unicorn T7 / Kato 800 were actually released,,,,,, thanks Troy
What follows is the end of time, immediately, 'cos that's how long this fucking KTM is taking to get to showrooms.
I know plenty...
Owners are always justifying purchase or emotionally invested.
True... and that was enough of a "left field" answer - you're on the test team.
team member number two... but you get short straw duty - the Ducati' is yours to baby sit.
bikes should be standardized (tyres), set up suspensions and reasonable protrection fitted (if not standard) but not farkled to the gunnels... and NO top boxes or hard cases - let the masses decide on luggage for themselves - this should be about the "bikes". So I would advocate a standardised "soft luggage" set up for all... each guestt/test rider would pack their own (set a nominated max weight recommendation) and shift their pack from bike to bike as the week rolls on.
That would be fair/real world comparison I reckon.
Throw this twin in as a Don Chipp special to keep the other big bastards honest!
Most importantly,,, what chocolate bars are “we” testing 1st
Oh that's sooooo last month...
It's quinoa, linseed and pumpkin husk glutin free organic granola bars that are the thing now...?
(You must still be back in HP2 land...? )
(You must still be back in HP2 land...? )[/QUOTE]
Yeh , that’s correct, that nearly forgotten land of 170 kg twin cylinder adv bikes ,,,, think you had one once AND the chocolate tastes soooo much better than that healthy shit ,,,,,,, oh look it’s wine o’clock ,, yes a nice big Berossa Shiraz
Then someone is gonna' pipe up and say we should have one of these along (as well) to keep the big busteds honest...?
and suddenly we got us a "mid size twin" offroad category - along for the beer and skittles...
Smashed, it must be smashed
uh huh... okay, so you bring the avocado's and neveau foodies "splades"...
Lurkin's got the barossa Shiraz handled
BigBore's will bring the ice cold mexican piss (he likes that stuff apparently ) and a pair of crutches...
Big Willy's in charge of the choccie bars vs granola shootout
... and yours truly can spring for some pickled herring...
... righto... so that's the catering fixed...
Nah, the CBX is an after market parts special, the little Kwaka is as bought from the showroom floor.
