This is the response I got back from Aqualine reguarding the rumor of larger capacity tanks. We shall see.....

    Jason,

We are working on 950 tanks, but have had to hold off until we could
    see a
990 and work out how to include the new injection system - we'll get
    our
hands on one in two weeks. The tanks will hold around 40 litres, but
    won't
    be available for several months.

    Regards

    Tony

Please post a link to Tony so we can all chime in an let him know the demand is there. I would love to have the option of a 10 gallon tank for distance work...... seems I have to fill up my bike at least twice every ride now as it is. Mmmmmmm- 400 mile range...........

We are working on 950 tanks, but ...

This is the same reply I recieved from Tony as well. Lets all bombard him with requests.

I'm now thinking an IronButt Rally attempt would be possible wih 10 gallons on board!!! :clap

I spoke to Craig Hartley from Dalby Moto in QLD Australia and he has supplied a 950 and 990 to Aqualine so templates can be made up for the tanks. Watch this space. I know when Aqualine made the DR650 tanks, they were 12mths from first drawing to production runs... should be getting close.

I bought Trail Rider mag and they have a spiel about safari tanks (R&V) and they have a picture of someone holding a 950 tank, and it says as much in the annotation. Something to the effect of tom holding a new 950 tank.

Where are they, people want them now..... PRETTY PLEASE.

Would be nice if they made the carbon fibre guards fit on, but I guess it doen't matter.

That's kick ass. Something like the Ralley tank setup on a 650R would be great. If only it's reasonably priced. Just hope the fuel doesn't get too hot down there.

KTM Factory crash bars will not fit with new Aqualine Tank....although they said at a glance you really can't tell the tanks are much bigger.
