Been a while since I posted any pics of my 85 XR250RF, not much left to do on him now.

Other side. Pipe has been repaired where necessary and will go on after the long weekend, still got a few small things to sort out, but Im very happy with the end product.

nice work bigem. something i'd like to do one day. not sure what bike.

im guessing the mrs wasnt home when you wheeled it thru the lounge to the deck. its that bloody clean it would've pick up some lint off the carpet anyway.

Ah the good old days, when a plug change and valve clearance checks were quick and easy jobs!

Beautiful! I miss bright, 80s colors on bikes.

    Awesome Job :clap.
I just bought one of these a few weeks ago and even though it is in rough nick I still reckon it is a good looking bike but now I am inspired to restore it like yours. Only problem is i still luv to take it out and get it dirty so the resto may have to wait for a while longer.

dropped you a PM BigEm ...

I have an 84 XR200R and was maybe hoping you'd managed to find a source for an intake manifold for your 250 (I'm told it would fit) ... mine's in several pieces after the rubber tracts separated from the metal base plate :(

    cheers
