That was shocking and/or disgusting?
Hmm...Maybe I'm a bad influence on kids.
Another report of one the news channels stated the punk dies from his gunshot wounds. One less db to worry about.g
best 1st post ever or fake noob?
Bet you feel dumb, bleeding out on some shitty 3rd world side street intersection trying to steal some dude's bike at gunpoint and failing.
That being said, the way that guy could ride I can't believe he didn't just floor it and get the hell out of there, always drive through an ambush, never stop for anyone without a hardened checkpoint!
umm they don;t use rubber bullets even in Tucson unless it's riot patrol
that dude didn't "feel like shit" he probably shit as he expelled his bowels on his last breath :eek1
victors video is gone but you can read more here http://oppositelock.jalopnik.com/helmet-cam-clip-shows-what-its-like-to-be-bikejacked-a-1444525893
A search for "motorcycle thief" on live leak revealed that the vid is still circulation.
More disturbing was the first vid in the search list which shows an apparent moto thief having his fingers chopped off at gun point, brutal.
clutch or brake ?
that video was much better than the original I had seen
they truly don't give 2 shits about the thief
they are more concerned with traffic flow and getting his cell phone LOL
they don't even move his feet from the path of traffic .
dude went from large and in charge to disposable garbage in seconds
Yeah, that happened in Sao Paulo. Biggest city in South America.
There's an ongoing epidemic of bike jacking in that inferno of a city. Ride anything over 125cc and you are at a real risk of coming home bikeless. There's lot of acquaintances who simply stopped riding there, it's really bad.
The video shows the standard modus operandi: two-up on another bike, stop the victim at gun point, and the pillion assumes control of the now-stolen bike.
The cop was off-duty and was (rightfully) condecorated for his bravery.
I don't know if that's actually a word, but it sure conveys the meaning!
Still on YouTube today as there are 2 short vids and one long one
With a gun waving right in your face the bike might become unimportant. Who knows what a punk with a large pistol might do while bouncing along on a bike?
It is odd though how long he lays there on the pavement,2 or 3 ambulances drive right by,no less then 8 or 9 cops and other official types wander and talk on their phones. Seems like waving down an ambulance might have got things moving quicker for traffic if nothing else.
San Paulo is a huge sprawling place, crime has been huge there for a long time.
When I went to Costa Rica we landed in Liberia at the other end of the country as opposed to San Paulo,we were close to the coast right away, quiet little place to land and grab our car and hit the ocean.
Much easier then the near full day drive from San Paulo to the ocean.
