I went back about 20 or so out of curiosity and didn't see a South African plate unless I missed it.
OK.....so I'm not the only one.
2007 R1200GS parked in my expensive Manhattan garage.
19__ (sorry cant disclose her model year) more expensive Manhattan woman.
Damn you have a place for a car AND three bikes in Manhattan?! That must be pretty rare to have there, expensive or not!
I don't think I could do without a garage.
Cumberland Gap, TN. Don't have the bike anymore but still have the girlfriend. Everyone on this thread (including myself) is lucky to have a significant other that enjoys 2 wheels, whether on their own or sitting on the back. I like my girlfriend sitting behind me where I can keep her safe. (aaaand so I can go the whole day with her legs wrapped around me)
Ha, I wish!
I pay monthly to rent two motorcycle spots. The garage is a one block walk from my apartment.
I don't have, or need, a car. I guess I really don't need two bikes either though... Hey, life is short, enjoy it.
You can't see my second bike in the picture but it's three spots behind the GS.
I guess one block isn't bad in the scheme of things. At least you picked the right choice of vehicle! You do get to live in the city (if that's the sort of thing you like) Iv'e always said if I had to give up all but one vehicle I would be left with a bike but Iv'e never actually had to make that decision before. I'm out in the country where space is cheap.
Judging by the pic , shes a good year .
she's making vroom-vroom noises here, isnt she?
She looks like she is thinking , hmmm i can ride this ,i'l sneak the key ,& take it out the first chance i get..

Sicilia 2008, bike was rented
Yeah, busted! But doesn't everyone do that?! Brings out the kid in us.
Very cool pic.
70's/80's Toyota ad? Great pic, looks like you guys are having fun.
Ha! I knew it.
and yeah, I've been known to Vroom-vroom a time or two . She looks good on that bike...does she ride?
Now, if I can get my wife to try it. Question for anyone still following this thread - you think an XT225 would be a good first bike for her? She's 5'4", and has only ridden quads. Like it to be a bike she can grow into, and that she won't grow out of for a long time.
Oh she can ride, but not the GS! She makes me go vroom-vroom.
She used to ride when she lived in Bermuda. 70 cc Malaguti Centro.
Here's my duo. She almost didn't date me because I had a motorcycle, now she's looking into getting her license.
....which is a little worrisome, not too many women are tall enough to ride a GSA. So I worry once she has a license she'll wanna try riding my bike....
