should get her outa the dark
Yea, obviously photography is not my thing.
LOL .. It is a fine photo.. the trick is in the edit, and even that is automatic these days. (edit> Adjust>auto> save)
That's a good picture of Miss C!
being that the bikes are in hibernation for the winter, do sled pics count ?
Actually, it's a very nice photo. Unfortunately Photobucket makes a mess out of many photos due to resizing and their compression process. iPhone photos can be very dynamic, but figuring out where to focus and give the iPhone a chance to do its color balance and exposure when set on the "auto" setting is always hit or miss.
Here are some of the things you did right - the tree is not growing out of her head (you'd be surprised how many times that happens); the shot is well composed - not a lot of wasted space with sky, but the forest background gives the viewer the perspective of depth and the vastness of the area (there is also some atmospheric perspective going on there); Your wife is not centered, but offset (rule of thirds), and both the bike and she are in the lower third (this adds "movement" to the photo rather than everything being static by being centered). Both the placement of the bike (heading toward the left of the photo) and the shadow coming down from the upper right present leading lines out of the photo suggesting more is out there to be found and (seeing that this is a motorcycle forum) and explored; the horizon is pretty level and not smack dab in the center of the photo (look at the ground).
Yeah, you could have gotten in all of the rear tire, and maybe all of the tree, but overall, a pretty good photo.
Great pic, Dave. My wife & I were in Prutz, Austria, in 2015, riding with lovely friends from Muirfield. Neighbors! Love your beautiful Country, as well as Austria. We were well chuffed, and I have to say it's brilliant!
Thanks. Yeh Austria is probably my favourite European country to visit / tour in.
We are already putting together our 2018 Euro trip, Hopefully a 3 week trip.
the wife loves her new gloves
My wife and best buddy with our old Deuce...
Mine too. I wonder if she would like the gloves as well?
Well, the gloves could ALWAYS be optional
That Frank Thomas bloke has a good life.
I wonder if one glove is bigger then the other
Need more Viivi !...j.f.
He's come a long way since his days with a first base mitt in Chicago...
86 degrees yesterday so we went for a trail ride around the lake.
I can't even get mine outside to LOOK at my bike...
