BDCW offers TWO specialized footpeg upgrades for various adventure bikes: "Platform" and "Traction" styles. All designs are a 1/2-inch lower than stock and oversized to provide the best possible balance of comfort and control:

    Platform Footpegs
Our Platform Footpegs offer both the grip and real estate to ride standing all day long. Compared to the stock "toothpicks" offered by some manufacturers, our Platform Footpegs are remarkably comfortable. They also give you a lot greater control while standing—so much so that one customer dubbed them as, "Like having power-steering for my bike!"

Finishes: Machined or Black (options vary with bike model)

    Traction Footpegs
Our Traction Footpegs are a more aggressive design for riders who tackle the most difficult terrain in all conditions. Removable and replaceable sharp teeth (cleats) greatly enhance traction in wet or muddy conditions while minimizing wear and tear on your riding boots. Traction Footpegs for the ultimate in all-weather traction.

We do have some in the works for the Triumph Tiger 800s. We also have some that fit the Tiger 1200 although not exactly sure the difference in legroom compared to stock. Thanks for asking!

Did you know both Platform and Traction footpegs are 1/2" lower than stock?

Not only are they 1/2" lower than stock, the footpegs are also oversized to provide the best balance, comfort, and control.

Some BDCW pegs even have a built-in bottle opener for your favorite beverage!

    Hi DBC
Sorry for your experience with our pegs. It is a fine balance between having the pegs sharp enough to grip your boots well (especially in wet conditions) and having them too sharp. It is rare that we receive comments such as yours as most riders like the extra grip the sharp edges provide.

I will talk to our machinists to take a closer look at these as they come out of the machines to try and make sure they are not "too sharp" in the future.

    Thanks for the feedback

Did you see our recent newsletter? Pre-order Traction Footpegs for the Triumph 800

We get a lot of request for parts...which we take as a huge compliment. As a small family run business we are not in a position to make a "phone book of parts" like some of our competitors. We prefer to focus on the machines we know and the parts we do BEST!

That said we are very excited to announce that our Traction Pegs for the Triumph Tiger 800s are IN PRODUCTION!

These pegs will be a HUGE improvement over stock in numerous ways:
    • Larger platform for increased comfort and control - 4.5" x 2.5" in size!
    • More Legroom - about 3/4" lower than stock
    • Less Fatigue - having your boot fully supported makes all the difference while standing for extended periods of time.
    • More Control - the extra leverage these pegs provide can't be understated. Like "adding power steering to your bike".

We expect these pegs to be ready to ship in early July and they can be pre-ordered on our site. And we won't hit your credit card until they ship (paypal accounts are debited at the time the order is placed which is out of our control).

They will be available in Machine Finish as well as Black Anodized. PRE-ORDER HERE
