Do you absolutely love your KTM adventure bike off road but find you have wrist fatigue and cramping on those long pavement stints? If so the Black Dog Cycle Works Throttle Control is the product for you. It is a truly instant On & Off throttle control that requires less than a one quarter turn to activate. The design and functionality of this control is far superior to anything else on the market. We designed our Throttle Control to be extremely rugged and user-friendly so it'll hold up to the heavy pounding and battering KTM adventure bikes endure
    • Click on, click off - feature provides a positive feel and positioning, taking the guess work out of setting the proper drag.
    • In the off position the throttle has full spring return.
    • In the on position the drag is preset and will hold the throttle position regardless of vibration, temperature, or expansion due to heated hand grips and rain.
    • Speed can be increased or decreased without disengaging the unit.
    • It can be over-ridden in emergency situations.
    • Easy to install and maintenance free.
This unit is compatible with stock grips, KTM heated grips, stock hand guards and Flexx handlebars.

    Retail Price = $175.00

Make your next adventure trip more enjoyable and stop fighting the throttle when on the pavement!

    Hi Moto-Kafe
Thanks for the props on the Enduristan dry bag. We absolutely love the design and use them for just about everything under the sun. The red interior makes them quite unique - MUCH easier to find things; and the durable waterproof design is bomber.

    Thanks again

Kurt and Martha are great people and make some bad ass shizz for sure! I have now had their foot pegs and skid plates on two of my bikes with almost 40,000 miles of use. I could not be happier with those two pieces of gear. Comfort all day on the pegs and knowing the skid plate can take a beating is the best! I have also used the throttle control and it is the best for the long pavement stretches! :deal:freaky:clap

Are you looking for more carrying space on your GS? If so we have the solution that is easy and affordable. We have designed a rugged rear rack to replace your pillion seat.

This rack adds additional carrying capacity for solo riders by removing the passenger seat and replacing it with a beautifully machined pillion rack. It works especially well with the BDCW Multi-Function Rear Rack for the GS-LC or GSA-LC, as well as other manufacturer’s rear racks.

    What the experts say:
“Unlike other versions on the market, we intentionally engineered our rack so that it doesn’t use the mostly plastic stock keyed release system. We found that the stock release doesn’t take to the off-road punishment many of our customers give their bikes. Our rack bolts directly to the frame,” says Kurt Forgét of BDCW.

The BDCW design has several notably unique features and benefits making it extremely tough:
    • Made of heavy gauge 1/4" aluminum.
    • Bolts to the frame for solid mounting, designed to take a beating while securely hauling your gear.
    • Replacing the stock keyed release system.
    • Quick and easy removal with four bolts to replace the passenger seat.
    • Generous-sized perimeter holes give the rider multiple tie-down points for their gear.
    • Compatible with the factory grab rails on both the standard GS and the GSA.
    • Anodized hard black for a durable finish.
    • Spacers and stainless steel hardware provided.
    • MADE IN THE U.S.A.
    • The rack is approximately 12" wide x 14" long.

This size is compatible with all known SADDLEBAG luggage systems including BMW, Touratech, Hepco-Becker, Jesse, Happy Trails, SW-Motech and Micatech. This rack is NOT designed to carry a top box.

The rack is designed to carry cargo only, do not attempt to make your passenger ride on the rack that would just be cruel!

    Retail price - $195.00

I'm so jealous. We spent a number of Christmas holidays in Baja...the first time just turning south for 12 hours and then stopping!! We look forward to returning again, once we get off the hamster wheel.

    Hope you're enjoying yourselves.

GREAT to get a little down time and start 2015 refreshed and ready to jam.

We had an amazing holiday hosting some great friends, including Roel & Azure from MyTickettoRide.

Thanks to Steve, Dave & Mel for making it down for New Years Eve as well. MANY cervezas were consumed and a blast was had by all. Plus I didn't have to shovel any snow all week - BONUS!

Plus our friend Jon Beck joined us to snap some quality photos and get a little riding in.

Definitely an amazing way to kick off 2015!!

Here's my BDCW skid plate and enduristan bag at the top of Ophir Pass on the Colorado BDR last summer. After several trips to Starbucks, decided to try out the BDCW stuff and see if it would hold up and I must report, it worked great! Thanks for the excellent products.

R&D on the new KTM 1290 Super Adventure begins in 3, 2, 1..... BDCW just took delivery of this beast yesterday. Stay tuned. Many exciting developments ahead.

Taking it for a brief ride yesterday I have to say I am very impressed. Coming off the 1190R, definitely a very different bike. Smoother and way more comfortable. I can't wait to get some knobbies mounted up to see how it does in the dirt!! This will not be a street queen - that is for sure!

Yup - got it nailed down yesterday. Parts are in production and we should have them available for delivery next week. As soon as I finalize pricing I will have them up on the site.

We had to modify the front mounts to account for the stock 1290 crash bars - same benefits as our 1190 skid plate - FULL protection with the integrated side stand relocation!

Stay tuned and thanks for your interest
