Let's post all the BMW airhead stuff in here. The other old school rides can do the same under their header. Too messy otherwise. Can a mod sticky this? Thanks.

Does anyone know what the diameter and width is of the timing can O ring? I need to buy a new one (leaks) and I'm trying to source an aftermarket part locally.

Well, it's better that way than to have all the old bikes etc. mixed into one pot. I offered to moderate an airhead forum, but it never went anywhere.

I've ordered one, so then I will know,... but it's going to be a while before I get it - it's all mixed up with some other stuff, and I haven't been able to start the project yet.
There are some bearing specs online, and on the microfiche (http://www.xmission.com/~wendell/GS/) most of them have the sizes, but it would be nice to have all the o-ring sizes.

Dudes, this basically *is* the airhead forum. While you are welcome to *try* to organize all airhead content into one thread, I wont force anyone, nor will I permit arm-twisting to do so.

Malindi, c'mon up. You are welcome to attempt an ass-kicking. But I warn ya, pack a lunch; it's gonna take all day. Oh and there is beer in the fridge.

Heck, I'm down in Machias a handful of times a year. We should hook up. You have a Goos, right? I'll see to it that you get invited to the next Tech Day.
