I need something different on my hack. The stock one is too slippery! And not that comfortable either.

Thanks Drone! I had a Sargeant on my F650 Dakar and really like it. But this Corbin looks the shitz for the airhead. Have you ever purchased one from them? Do you have to send in your old seat to be recovered?

Dale, too bad you don' t have the 650 anymore. I have a corbin I'd like to get rid of. They use their own pans. I have one on my RS and love them both. They jusr weigh a ton hence wanting to get rid of the 650s.

Can someone tell me about the tank on the above /2. Is it stock or aftermarket? I have one that looks very similar that I got from my dad.

The Corbin seat comes ready to attach, many dislike the Corbin seat pan; It is heavy, and the hinges could be of better quality but i do like the seats... All i had to do was attach the cowl.

I have a corbin from my 82 R100. I made a S clone and put the stock seat back on for looks. My son now drives that bike. He is not allowed to sell without giving me first crack at it. :lol3

PM me if interested in the seat. I think it is called a Gunfighter. I may also have a removeable backrest for it. PM me if interested. I will have to dig it out and take some pictures for you.

Well, after finishing the build of my XR460/4 for the Scrapheap Adventure Ride, I am now planning to build an Airhead sidecar for next years event!

Scrapheap rules are you have to start with a bike for under $1000.

Well I had this slightly fried R80 Mono given to me, after it was stolen and burnt out. Let the fun begin :evil

Seriously though - that’s quite a horrifying sight. I’m keen to see what you can make of it.
