    Mine are 7/8, which is .875in or 22.225 mm.. so they are slightly larger than the BMW grips which are .866in or 22mm.

    I have yet to determine what I want to do with this information. Ha.

    I think I might just shave .1125mm from the bars.. unless this is dangerous to the integrity of the bars. If so, I might have some Clubmans on ebay soon.

    I use standard 7/8 bars on my bikes. Take a wooden dowel, duct tape a piece of 120 grit sandpaper to it, put in drill, lap the controls inside. Perfect fit on 7/8 bars, and still fits the 22mm bars. Limited availability and styles of 22mm bars, and quad the price of 7/8.

    22mm = .866 7/8 = .875

    There is a difference of .009 inches, the controls are oversized by .006 - .007 inches (I measured). Therefore you only need to remove .002 - .003 inches of material from the controls.

    This bike started as a S replica until I hit a deer coming home from the paint shop with less than 30 miles on the paint. After that it became a Cafe'

    Just goes to show you need to scroll down the threads before posting.

    I added my little one in both the "cafe'racer section" and "road racer section"

    WooHoo why not one more time.....

    :clap :clap That is the best looking top cover I have ever seen when eliminating the airbox! Smooth is an understatement! Lots of nice touches on that one.
