I am beginning the process of adventurizing my X Ch. I purchased the bike last July from inmate Hotmamaandme. He had the bike nicely setup and I want to continue adventurizing it. I purchased the TT steel subframe and racks from inmate DirtDadX and the TT tank from another inmate TBarstow. I am scheduled to have the front stock forks reworked by yet another inmate, trail trick. (see a pattern here...) He will also be installing my EmigRacing upper triple clamp and Revolution 2 steering dampener.

Items I have ordered and plan to install include:
TT Zega Pro hard bags (38L & 45L) (installed)
    TT rear chain guide (installed)
TT side stand hard part (installed)
TT front brake line clamp guard (installed)
Wunderlich rear brake reservoir protection (installed)
    Wunderlich side stand enlarger (installed)
    Wunderlich throttle lock (installed)
    BMW OEM engine guards (installed)
Emig Racing dual sport kit (installed)
    Emig Racing hand guards (installed)
    R&G Tail Tidy (installed)
Hyperlite 16 led turn signals (installed)
Hyperlite California modulated brake lights (installed)
Scheffelmeier stainless steel wheel spacers (installed)
    Scheffelmeier front sprocket guard (installed)
Scheffelmeier front sprocket stainless steel bolt (installed)
    RK Chain (installed)
    15T front sprocket (installed)
    49T rear sprocket (installed)
Parabrisas Curtain Windscreen - translucent black (installed)
NGK DR8EB spark plugs (x2) (installed)
    Dimple magnetic oil drain plug(installed)
Mefo Stone Master Rear 140-80/18 (installed)
    Denali 2 Light Set (installed)
Custom Seat from XPC Seating Systems (installed) (Black suede top, black gripper vinyl sides, blue stitching, blue embroidered logo)
    Fastway adventure pegs (installed)
Protaper EVO Handlebar, Windham /RM Mid bend, magnesium (installed)
    Protaper grips (installed)
    front brake pads (installed)
    rear brake pads (installed)
    clutch cable (installed)
    Stainless Steel Speed Bleeders (installed)

Everything I intended to do I have now completed. I still need to change the front tube (it's not holding air), bleed the brakes, and take it on a shake-down ride...

Twisted Throttle Tool Tube (x2) (received)
Rotopax 1 gal water jug (received)
Wolfman Expedition Medium Dry Duffle (received)

    "Fixing" my new panniers...

I decided to get the silver anodized finish for my panniers. I used a spray paint can of spray-on bed liner on the bottom. I wanted to sound deaden the bottoms and protect them a bit. I know they will get all scratched up eventually, but this should help.

In the photos, you can see the 45L is finished and the 38L is awaiting the bed liner. I also put the reflective tape on and it really shows up with the flash.

Check if it is actually allowed to have white reflective material on the back of your vehicle, here (europe) only red reflective is allowed on the rear.
(never red that someone actually got a fine for it though)

Stick some to the underside as well!, just in case you take a spill, and end up upside down in a ditch!

PO installed the large Touratech bash plate and lined the inside with Dynamat to deaden the sound. When I was inspecting the plate, it looked like I had a slight oil leak. After removing the bash plate, it turned out to be oil seeping from under the Dynamat. I'm guessing it is oil from a previous oil change. I decided to remove all the Dynamat, clean the adhesive off with Goof-Off, and paint it with bed liner to deaden the sound.

    After cleaning the inside...

    And the outside...
