Tell him the new Gold Wing has Nav included and maps for 10 years.

I'm on a 14 K1600. Still can't bring myself to blow a grand on a Nav when my phone can do it for me.

So I bought the Nav VI when I bought my K1600B (before they were giving them away with a bike purchase, dammit). I was sold the 'without cradle' version as it just drops right into the K1600B dash.

Now I want to buy a cradle to be able to use the Nav VI on my other bike (a Honda Valkyrie). But damn if my GoogleFu is failing; I can't find any single compatible mount or docking cradle, and I can't find any place where it's possible to buy an 'official' cradle... but evidently one can buy the Nav VI *with* a cradle as an option? I really wish I'd known that before buying it _without_...

Any help? any dealer or parts maven know how to buy the cradle separately, or at least a compatible powered holder or something?

It's the same mount/cradle used for the Zumo 660/665. You can use a powered cradle like the Garmin 010-11270-03 and put a RAM mount ball on the back.

Similar yeah. Compatible yeah. But not the same cradle. The BMW variant has a left face, with those magic four physical buttons you can push with any gloves on. None offered on Ebay at the moment. If they exist as a BMW product in the fiche, I don't think they call it a cradle. (Is there a more sophisticated name that props up the margin?)

Understood. I owned a Nav V w/ Four Button cradle for 4 years and used it on my 2011 GS. I'd guess I used the buttons less than a dozen times over the years. If someone is just looking for a mount on a spare bike, I'd go cheep and find a Zumo 660/665 mount. If you want a Nav V/VI on your primary moto, the four button would be nice.

yes iPhone 7+ with Sena 10S. What’s really cool is as music is playing say from iTunes I can say “hey Siri open Pandora “ and bam Pandora opens and starts playing. I can fast forward and repeat from the wonderwheel

Did you just pair Sena to Nav and phone to Nav? I have Sena 30 and iPhone 7+.

Do you setup playlists or just use shuffle?

I go into shuffle and it plays 5 seconds and moves on to next song.

Start with a factory reset on the Sena. Pair the Nav IV to the Sena. Then Pair the Nav IV to the IPhone. After that scroll the the bottom of the bluetooth menu. The is an option that says to play music automatically UNCHECK IT. Shut everything down and power up and all should work.

Crap...typo...pair the Navi to the Sena first, then pair the IPhone to the Nav. DO NOT pair the Sena and the iphone....it wont work. Kinda sucks you lose the ability to use the app on the phone....But worth giving up

So after playing around with the media player for the past week I have to say im over the hype of it. I think im going to go back to using the phone as my music and just leave the Navi IV as a GPS unit alone. With the Sena 20S you can audio multitask so you can have music in the background of intercom and now if you pair the GPS correctly the voice prompts can also be in the background too
