    Hello all,

I'm in a bit of a sticky situation! :cry My bike's been in a BMW garage in northern France for more than two weeks now, apparently "waiting" for a replacement suspension to arrive from Germany.

Although I will call them (again!) tomorrow morning and ask them why it is taking so long, I am starting to consider alternatives. One of which, is to order the replacement shock from somewher else. I am guessing dealers usually have access to a central place in Germany where the parts come from.

However, if I have waited for this item for 2 weeks, then perhaps there is a problem in the warehouse and there are no more of these items left.

So I need to find a parts specialist who may have the item in their warehouse - in the UK, I like to use http://motorworks.co.uk/vlive/Home/index.php

Do you guys have any recommendations for any BMW parts specialists?

    Thanks in advance!
    Daniel

There is no reason why you can't order from the UK and have it shipped to France.

    Thanks!
I was hoping that there was a faster solution without paying arm-and-leg for it.

Thankfully I just called the garage yesterday and they finally received the new shock that it needs (the old one was very bouncy, and gone) but the new one has an adjusting knob so needs a plate to mount this... now I'm waiting for the plate...! :D
