the 11, 1150, and 12R are all some of the most interesting and most under appreciated bikes on the road.
Just got an 07 R1200R on Wednesday, paid for it on Tuesday but did not want to take a new to me bike home in the rain.
Have already put 200 miles on it. Love it...
Will try and get a few photos up this weekend.
That's what I have got. 2007. What color is yours? What kind of seat do you have on it?
Congrats! Amazing how fast he miles can add up. Can't wait to see pics
Granite Gray, and I have no clue what seat...
Anyone know of any engine guards that aren't super expensive? I got low enough on the snake today to hit the valve cover...
Try Touratech, I have these on my Rockster.
I have a set of the abs guards but don't know how they will hold up to dragging. I am in need of fog lights and want them low and on the forks. A friend suggested a custom fabricating shop for some brackets. surely one of these places could roll some sheet aluminum into guards. my 2 cents.
That's a badge of courage man, wear it with pride.
As long as it doesn't leak...
I saw these awhile ago and couldn't find them again. Thanks!
haha thanks, yeah Im just worried about it wearing through and leaking...
Maybe their light brackets would work:
Well here is the new to me bike...
Working on getting the tool kit up to snuff as mine did not have one...
Love that silver color. Where in MD you from? Just moved from Jessup area.
Shot from the snake
Not only do you need engine guards, but it would appear that toe guards would be in order too!
I'm getting my monies worth out of my toe sliders!
Just down the street from Jessup...
