Bmw r5?

    Anybody knows what type BMW this bike is ?
    Looks a lot like a R51, but all the pictures I have seen of R51's
    have a plunger rear suspension. This one has nothing...

    I think it's an R5. The R6 or R61 had the rear suspension.

    Correction... The R51 also had rear suspension.

    Yep , you are right. I just googled R5 , and lot's of pictures

    Must be around 1936 or something

    Actualy, after a bit of investigating it does say R5 on the
    headstock tab.....:shog
