Those look very nice. Can you give us some details on the cases?
Ebay cases. MC Resource Luggage Brackets and "quick mounts".
DJ - what's the story on that chain guard?
it's my shitty diy attempt at a lightweight chain guard. i never have a passenger, and i just wanted to keep the little bit of lube sling off of the wheel/frame/me.
it works. is it pretty? hell no. is it lightweight? well, it's made from 0.125" x 1.000" aluminum flat bar stock, so yes. I painted it with high temperature BBQ paint, that stuff is as durable as cast iron.
...was it fun to make? yes. i just wish i had a vice and workbench in my garage to go with my tools. i'd then have a fighting chance at some decent fabrication.
Thought I'd join the party
I'm a Ducati guy who loves his old monster too much to ever part with it.
But I gotta say, I think the modern Bonnevilles might be the nicest looking bike on the market. Everytime I see a pic I think I need to have one.
I owned this for a year before trading it in for a Speed Triple. It was a great ride but (to me) was lacking something outside of city riding.
How about some pics of the anniversary models. I think the 60th and 110th models are awesome.
I was thinking the same thing, would love to see some real world shots of that 110 aniversary model.
Well, I did it. Should have my 110th T100 in a few days. Dealer located and is picking up for me.
heres my 2013 bonneville, with custom luggage racks and seahorse 720se cases. just finished mounting em this morning.
and here are the racks i modified, initially purchased from losi3030 on ebay
This is my new to me T100, 2007 model 6500 miles. I fitted the tank knee pads and gaiters.
Came with a slight leak.
I'll sort this in the spring, i'm also going to get the Triumph tacho conversion kit and sort out a scottoiler
i gave my cam cover bolts a smidge of hand tightening. leak stopped. give it a try?
