Mutineer, your bike with the M-bars, hows that affect the handling and comfort of the bike vs say a standard handle bar setup?

    Damn sexy bike.

Very nice. How and where did you get the Excel wheels swapped? One of the best modded new bonnies i've seen.

I've got a dirty bonnie! I clearly spend more time riding it than cleaning it.

Yeah, that's where I went when I read it.
Cool bikes, though. I'm happy with my V-Strom, but if I had ridden a Bonnie first I might be riding one now.
I like them even more seeing the mods folks are doing to them.

Motorcycle Daily said all the Bonnies are going to have the T-100 based motor this year; presumably meaning they'll drop the 790. Anyone heard this anywhere else?

    standard bar more comfy

M bars can't you forward a little but, but not a lot

at near highway speeds and above the wind on your chest keeps weight off your wrists

plus the Bonnie seats all allow a lot scoot room so scooting up close to the tank give you sit and beg posture and scooting back puts you in a cafe lean

I dig the bars and I typically prefer a sit up and beg posture like a Strom or my old F650

my biggest beef is the peg to seat length is too close for my 32 inch inseam

I see a set of the least ugly hway pegs I can find in my future

you have it backwards on the mill

they are all getting the 865 motor with the 360 cranks

I had a Vstrom (DL1000) and sold it to get the coin for the Bonnie

    I thought that's what I said.
Does your black have the 790?

I rode a standard last summer. Felt like a motorcycle should. Or used to. Or something. Could be a little noisier, but they say the off-road pipes will fix that.

I believe the America and Scrambler have the 865, but with a 270 degree crank.
