Your bike inspired me to go look at some Triumphs today. Spent about an hour, sitting on all kinds of bikes, R1's, Scrambler, Bonnie, Bonnie T100, Thruxton 900, Ducati. A bunch of great looking bikes. I was kind of surprised at how small the Triumphs felt (After riding a GS). (Im sure you all know this already) The Scrambler basically is a Bonnieville with knobbys on it, or thats what it looked like. Seems like you could throw a set of knobbies on the Bonnie (Or vicea versa), and you'd have the same capability as the Scrambler, something for thoes of you who are "Should I get the Bonnie or the Scrambler?", 2 bikes in one. I liked the lower exhaust vs the Scramblers Exhaust, I see burning yourself easly on the setup. Over all the bikes I keep coming back to the Bonnie T100, more chrome more shinny and a Tach. I wanted to check out the all black Bonnie but they didn't have any there. Deffinetly a possible next bike.

    you did say it right

I have hte reading comprehension skills of a bowl of jello sometimes - sorry

mine has the 790, factory pipes but with the baffles drilled, pod filters and jetted but I do not what size and it purrs so I ain't jacking with it

plenty of pull and a fun ride but no speed demon by any means

it will drag my 260 pound us up to the ton and a little over
the power is just real usable

I'll probably go for the wiseco 904 kit at some point when I have some coin burning a hole in my pocket

I was impressed with how (not to be confused with 'how much' :D ) it makes power. Seamless.

Biggest saddlebags I've ever seen on a Bonnie - they look like they're made for Milwaukee's best.. what'd they come off of?

Yeah, it's that white stuff behind the bike.

I was all over these when I found the VUN. I'd emailed the guy about ten times, called twice, and never got an answer. Funny how fate works.

saddlemen drifters the size extra extra jumbo (I am serious)

way too big for the Bonnie but all I could find without conchos and studs since I waited until a week before the trip to start sourcing bags

I am gonna sell them and go down to the Jumbo size bags I think

Rider mag said December issue will feature an article by Salvadori about a long-distance ride he did recently on a T-100. His column this month is about the processes that lead him to buy particular bikes; this being one he's either bought or intends to.

True.. and the last paragraph in his editorial sums up why he likes the Bonnie T100 so much. Great read - as usual when it comes to reading his stuff.
