    Joe is keen for next saturday night, so we might do a big one, beerwah, bellethorpe and maybe a German beer in a big glass up at Mary Cairncross if they're still open and back to farm for a barbie, swags welcome

    probably 12 litres would do it

    What do you expect from a cheap copy of a KDX.

    Maybe I should just buy an Ag bike like you ride and then I wouldn't have to lay a spanner on it.:lol3

    I'll try and make it.

    I had a ball last night, and for some reason preferred it to the day rides.

    The only problem I struck is that my pretend KDX has no battery, just the standard AC circuit running the lights, and I hooked up a DC circuit to run a LED and my speedo light with a capacitor (extra alternator wire is there because they run the same stator for the two strokes and electric start, fuel injected four strokes).

    So if/when I stall it coming down steep rocky hills, I lose all lighting...

    You missed a fun night of dragging bikes over logs and up and down rocky cliffs*.:D

    It was hard enough on a 250 two stroke, a KLR would have been "interesting".:lol3

    (*OK, so it was only two spots I had to drag the Gasser over logs, and no cliffs at all.)
