Fantastic RR Monty! I live in Brunei and am planning a ride to circumnavigate round the the whole Borneo island.

Your RR really has inspired me even further as i now think to include a ride across the island along the equator if it could be possible again as i really do want to have a firsthand glimpse of probably the last remaining natural rainforest we have left on the island before it is no longer. :cry

I would like to document and contribute the RR here as well, though no where at the level you have done.

Kudos to you and all the guys that participated. :beer

Five hours of reading and pure bliss, mixed with OMG and holly shit. Received this link from my nephew who is a Jeep freak and said this link is viral in www.jeepforum.com. My right hand is just worn out from rolling the mouse. Awesome RR and major props to you sir Monty, you are a bad ass freak. Defined true ADV riding - multiplied by 6.023 X1023rd.

Will follow up with other reports, thank you.

with Sovan's xr200 running side by side with the bigger displacement bikes for the entire duration of the adventure. are there any issues regarding engine overheating, electrical system and how does the xr perform on the trails?

    cheers and goodluck! :freaky

I wanted to stop reading a couple of pages ago, my ASS is sore from being in one spot for so long! I just can't stop, can't do it. You guys have done one MASSIVELY INSANE TRIP! :clap:clap

Thanks so much for taking the effort to do this RR. It truly is one of the best.

I hope you've recovered fully, stay safe.

    b

    Make that a STANDING OOOOOOOOVATION!:clap:clap::clap:clap

I know it's been over for you for awhile now, but I just finished it, basically in one day! I somehow got sidetracked on pg.7, lucky for me...I got fired last week!:lol3

I saw it going through my subscribed stuff and thought it odd that I hadn't read all of it. Once I started I couldn't stop! It seemed, as you said, just when you thought you were out of the woods, something SMACKED YOU IN THE HEAD and just made you say WTFWTFWTF!!!

I, as MANY others said enjoyed the hell out of this RR. CONGRATULATIONS on your safe completion of this wild ass ride! THANKS, SO MUCH for taking us along for the ride of a lifetime!

    Great RR..

Three words to describe it..... 'Tedious, tedious and tedious.... '

    ...OR.....the Perfect Riding Event!!!!...

    Physical and mental endurance....

That's the sort of event I'd give a go at the drop of a hat....
