Mark, how are you doing? Do you have a separate thread going somewhere?

Plugging away, 1.5 hrs of pt everyday, developing some strength in my legs. Still no feeling but I'm learning to live with it. It's the new normal for me. I had a thread going but have not updated it in months. Nice ride report, I would so love to do something like it one day. If all goes well and I keep at it I should be back on the Klr this summer.

Welcome back Jamie and congrats on your new ride.

Did you move back to Medford or are you still up North?

Thanks Dave. Yeah, I'm psyched. I find myself wandering out to the garage...often.

We only moved up north for a couple of months. Still in Medford. My company is up in Seabrook now.

You still rocking the V-Strom & DRZ? I miss my DRZ.

No shit dude? Can't feel em at all? Keep at that PT. It'd be good to go on a few rides with you this year.

Amazing what we can adapt to when we must. My sister has MS and can't tell where her feet are, yet she still goes skiing. Falls a lot, but more importantly she keeps getting up. She inspires me. Improvise, adapt and overcome, right?

Thanks! Ping me when you're ready to ride.:thumb

Hey guys, have not done much riding this past month (too cold) so we rebuilt "dirtbike jimmy's" YZ250. New bottom and top end, suspension and wheel bearings, plastics, and graphics. It's too nice for him to ride now, and may need to go to a good home. It's a plated 2004. PM me if interested, I will try to convince him to sell it before he hurts himself.

Nice job on the cleanup, it looks too nice to ride in the woods.

Thanks but I can't part with my DRZ.
Every person I know who sells theirs, wishes they never did. Maybe someday but I doubt it.

Jamie, it's not your E, but you can ride it.

I picked up the 500 a couple weeks back and my good friend "smoose" has been helping me (really, I'm trying to help him) get it ready for the dirt with the usually protection and mods. He tells me I'll ride better, but that would take a miracle, not a motorcycle. I understand it's 90% rider only 10% bike, but I really need that 10% in my favor.

I have promised smoose a ride in cranberry country, so when you're around, and can ride, let me know and count us in.

Did you go to the hammers yet?

John, the rebuild looks mint. I thought you bought a new toy. :clap

Mass, that was me asking about the Z. My contractor has taken my Z out for some rides to lunch and would like to get one by spring time.

    Congrats on the new KTM.

Dave, congrats man! That's a great ride. I know it will serve you well. You definitely rode the piss out of your Z...paid your dues. I'm sure it's lighter than your Z, twice as powerful?, infinitely better suspension. Pretty sure you're gonna be chuckling when you ride that thing.

I leave tomorrow morning to start my (almost) 2 week adventure...3 of us leave Rutland, VT Thursday morning in the truck towing the 28' enclosed trailer hauling 12 ATV's and 4 bikes. We should hit the lake bed Saturday afternoon/evening, where everybody else will have flown into LA, gotten the 2 motor homes, and driven to the lakebed.

Thanks, I sure hope so. I'm real comfortable on DRZ so I'm sure it will take me a while to get use to it.

Did I somehow miss my invite to this adventure? Bastard!!
Come by and grab my DRZ too and I'll be another fly in :D (I wish)

Hey Dave , I just realized its going to be harder to keep track of you at all the TRs now that your ridin orange, then I remembered you'll likely still be wearing that too small DRZyellow jacket.:D
