I took my brother-n-law out for a ride today. We may or may not have hit up F. Gilbert Hills. It officially opens May 1st but there were motos riding today. My wife said there has been activity in Wrentham too. It is kinda fun watching a 35 year old man become as giddy about motorcycles as I was when I was 18. This was also the first run for the 640 in the rough stuff. I am surprised how well she behaves, like running a boat, kinda slow response but does not get hung up on rocks like the DR did.

:evil I did it many times on a DR with bald deathwings. Give yourself time and it is possible.

Your idea of fun differs from mine...over 300lbs of bike through the man loop is work. Period. :deal

    Have fun.

You screw around with jeeps... a winch and a spotter sounds like work to me. :deal

You miss my point...I would not think taking a 1 ton pickup truck into gnarly trails where I had to work my ass off winching it over everything because it was too big and heavy and under equipped for the trail and conditions was "fun". I do however enjoy taking a light weight and we'll prepared off roading rig onto hard trails and using it appropriately.

FYI, I rarely use a spotter and a winch, because I match the rig with the trail difficulty. Based on the hole(s) you've punched in DR case(s), and the work I had to do using a shop press to straighten/reshape the skid plate I bought from you, you are obviously a fan of running equipment far over it's head :lol3

That bike is currently for sale, it needed new rings so he did the 685 Kit on it. Know idea why the rings wore out.:lol3
