    Does anybody have the manual for an F800GS handy? I'm curious what they recommend for the max RPM during break-in, and how many miles they say to stay under it. Couldn't seem to find that info in my search. Thanks!!

    5000 rpm / 1000 km

    Running in
    The first 1000 km:

    * While running in the motorcycle, vary the throttle opening and engine-speed range frequently. Try to do most of your riding during this initial period on twisting, fairly hilly roads, avoiding high-speed main roads and highways if possible.
    * Do not exceed the rpm limits recommended for running in:
    Running-in speed
    <5000 min-1

    * No full-load acceleration.
    * Avoid low engine speeds at full load.
    * Do not omit the first inspection after 500 - 1200 km.

    Ride it like you stole it... I ran the crap outta mine - I now have 33,000+ and no issues at all. Hell of a great Adventure Bike.
