Second post first timed out and I lost it all - SHITE -:huh anyway - Atlanta to Clayton to Helen to Brasstown Bald to Cleveland and back to the ATL - Trip took place on december 3rd andtemps started at 30 degrees and warmed to 65 by mid day - not a cloud in the sky so it made for some really great riding - The tenere doesn't even have its tag yet and I feel like I gave it a good break in thrashing this weekend - Now Im no small guy at 6'3" 265 and the tenere and I have bonded - I freakin Love this machine - Contimplated a BMW for a long time but I am definitely happy I bought this instead. Now for the trip - it started at 9 am with myself and a buddy Michael - he rides a 97 r 100 gs - a really cool bike in great shape - hes pretty cool too - we left from atlanta to the well known Warwoman road in clayton ga - now warwoman is known for its twisties abd dualsporters know it for its off roads - Earls ford crek and sandys ford road both are side roads that travel 4 - 6 miles with gravel, dirt, mud jumps and creeks - perfect for our bikes - i didnt get film but heres a link someone else posted on the same road we were on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=88viK-ajxk8 - heres a pic when we stopped - IMAG0060[1] (2).jpg
from here we left and followed some great mountain roads to Helen Ga - its a cute little quaint town made to resemble a small German town - even the cop cars say POLIZEI on them - after being in Helen we went west to Hiwasee to the highest point in Georgia at Brasstown bald - there was still snow on the ground up there and heres a pic of my bike at the top of the hill - see next post
