    And I was only saying he wouldn't have gotten on the first row by himself. His fastest lap he did on his own would have put him 7th.

    Now he's in a great position to get a good start, and skittle Marquez in turn 1 when he overcooks it on the entry. :lol2

    There is no sin in getting a tow. It is part of the deal. Casey Stoner himself would want a tow if he thought it would advance his cause. At Daytona the riders gear for the tow. To make sure they have enough revs for the draft on the banking.

    Kallio takes Moto2 victory! That was a long time coming, he´s definitely had the speed, but just too up and down to really challenge. Glad he now finally got it all together.

    Thing is, Bautista and Barbera do it so much, and it's the only way they can crack the front couple of rows. In a race, you know where they'll finish: in crtland.

    That last pass by MM was one of the best I have ever seen. He's not only gifted, but very smart too. And I guess I have to take it back about him being so precise with that front wheel. :eek1 He was pushing both ends in spots.

    Kid's going to be the champ his first season. He's only going to get better. He's the new Fast Freddy.

    Amazing racing from the young HRC gun. But at this point I'll just quote myself from another thread:
    And today that has proven not to be enough. Yamaha will have to up his game a bit.

    Forgot to mention... I found myself waiting to see how the Ducati riders would perform on the final straight... Or should I say last corner?:D

    MM = Wow!:clap

    The young man is definitely comfortable with the bike moving around underneath him. History in the making.

    I haven't yet watched the race (I'll do that this evening with a beer in my hand :D) but what happened to Crutchlow? Something wrong with his bike or tires?

    Nah, he had a little lowside. He picked up and got going again, but he lost almost a lap trying to get re-fired. His lap times were right up there even after he crashed.

    Guess DC forgot to dumb it down a little for the slower members. Fail to see what the the big deal it is who starts the thread.

    Maybe there's an app for people too lazy to actually read thread titles, or doG forbid, hunt a little. Last I heard this was still an open forum, not comments to a featured columnist.
