Bikes I covet and would like to have in my collection:
I'm starting to appreciate the silver and black.
A John Robertson Shotgun
Westley Richards & Co .28 gauge
Nice guns KH.
Dominator 99SS 1961-62, 596cc, ohv twin, 425lbs, 55mpg, 115mph
Tuned 600 with twin carbs, high compression pistons, big valves and radical valve timing. Suffers excessive vibration at high speeds. Slimline frame gives excellent handling and comfort.
Beautiful bike. Very rare.
And like a complete arse I turned one down at a great price (in boxes for rebuild and minor restoration - wheel rebuild, seat recover, paint etc., nothing heavy) some years ago because I didn't have the little money they were asking and had no idea just how rare it was.
and the 1000cc (genuine ton up bike!)
My old BSA B50T Cafe Racer.
I have some really fond memories of pushing it up long steep hills after it would stall and I had beaten my shins to a pulp trying to turn it over.
Great thread Your Majesty....
When I was in high school I had a Yamaha 305 street scrambler and my buddy had a new Norton Commando 750 like this, except his was red. We traded bikes often and oh how I loved the power and exhaust note of that Norton.
They have an essence of black and chrome.
Nice Norton, good lines:
