I don't know which is scarier:

Dis-affected Raiders fans watching their team spend millions on terrible players and coaches?

Mal-contented Broncos fans looking at their team and knowing the other shoe is going to drop any game now.:evil

C&P of a Tom Curran Op/Ed:

The Broncos are the most surprising. After an 8-8 2008 in which they crawled across the finish line, Denver went through the NFL’s most tumultuous offseason. Now, after Sunday’s 23-3 dismantling of the Raiders, they are 3-0 and looking down at the San Diego Chargers[IMG] (2-1) in the AFC West. They’ve still allowed just one touchdown, that coming in their miracle, 12-7 win over Cincinnati.

The other show will drop. :cry

Remaining schedule:
Cowboys - Home - don't think so
Pats - Home - Could be ugly as Bellicheck won't let off at all, teach Mini-me a lesson. You don't take on the master, son.
Chargers - Away - doubt it
bye
Ravens - Away - no way in hell
Steelers - Home - looking more likely all the time
Redskins - Away - I'll take this one
Chargers - Home - if its cold, there's a shot
Giants - Home - nope
Chefs - Away - They lost to the Raiders
Colts - Away - ummm, no
Raiders - Home - Unless they bring back Stabler, should be ok
Eagles - Away - Philly fighting for a playoff spot - nope
Chefs - Home - They will have thrown in the towel by then

I'm gonna give 'em the Steelers just because they are at home. There's a very good possibility of 8-8. If you would have told me in August that 8-8 was even remotely possible, I would have laughed at you. Still, not even a sniff of the playoffs, but I'll take it. Remember I said 4-12 before the season started.

in advance.

While I think the Broncos have what it takes to defeat the Cowboys--namely strong defence-- I know that they will lose on Sunday. Sorry this is a near garuantee.

Why? Cause Jurgen will be there. Bronco's are like 2-20 in Jurgen attended games. Sad but true.

So to my fellow Bronco fans, I apologize.

Security has been contacted, you will be detained in protective custody at least until the end of the game. I have tipped them off that you may be carrying an IED. Prepare for a strip search.

I also told them that you had been spotted in the local beauty supply store buying large quantities of hydrogen peroxide and hair extensions.

Carry on...

Last time I took the shuttle to DIA the driver asked me to bring a gift to his cousin in Brooklyn. Is that wrong?

I am inching above my 5-11... but even with that I saw the possibility of a 3-0 start. Actually was counting on it. But I'll wait till after Dallas to see how far I'm willing to adjust.

Did you watch last night's game?? Oh, and who's coaching the 'Boyz? And did you see them wet their pants after scoring the last TD?? That included their owner who started dancing a jig in his private suite Neuman crossed the goal line.

The old Cowboys would have trounced an inferior team like the Panthers and they damn sure wouldn't have been doing much celebrating afterwards. This is your new-age, under achieving version of America's Team who I suspect will prance into the new Mike High stadium next week and get spanked by a pretty good defense.

On a different matter who thinks Shanahan will end up in Dallas? Or how about Washington?

Having Mike in Dallas would be fantastic! Both TX NFL coaches would be Denver alums. :lol3

Redskins' Plane in Colorado, but Not for Shanahan

There was word out of Colorado on Monday that a Redskins corporate jet had landed at a small airport near the Broncos' practice facility, which, it just so happens, is not far from the home of former Denver coach Mike Shanahan.
Naturally this led to all kinds of speculation, given the focus this week on the tenure of Redskins Coach Jim Zorn following the team's 1-2 start that included Sunday's loss to the Detroit Lions.
As it turns out, the plane was indeed in Colorado but, according to Redskins spokesman Zack Bolno, it was not being used for Redskins business -- and had nothing to do with Shanahan.
Several companies use the plane for business purposes, Bolno said, which is why it was in Colorado on Sunday. "It wasn't there for the Redskins," he said.
That's about all we know at this point. But with the heat increasing on Zorn and the Redskins, there figure to be a lot of rumors and reports in the weeks ahead.
