Greatness brother! Was cool seeing a Tennessee plate down there I bet that caught some attention. Also enjoyed all the crazy Argentina car facts, I still drive my 70 nova all the time. I was born in Brooklyn and bought the Nova in Ft Laud. During a freshening up I found a NYC subway token in the back seat so its Mine for life!

Suggestion VicMitch, how about a rebuild thread on the Victory when you have time! It's become part of you!

If I do get the bike back in time, I'll be going to the Horizons Unlimited meeting in Ontario in June. No need to rebuild, just a new rear tire (stole a new Commander II off Ebay for $50) and a new shock. I'll bring a fire extinguisher in case the rewiring job I did goes wrong

Nova, Omega, Ventura, Apollo. The Astra was a Pontiac Vega. Sorry to be so wonkey. As for crazy car facts, just be glad I skipped Brazil

Got my bike back today. The shipping warehouse said I had to come with a truck that was dock height. Good thing I have a friend who helped me out. This is my friend Sheik, from Guyana and his truck. Shiek wants to drive a pickup to Guyana next year and wants me to join him. sheik 001.JPG

Good to be back on page 1, but I feel myself sliding down already.....

Victory should give you a new bike and put this one in thier collection. If they have a collection.

Great to have such friends! I remember the issues I had with my bike at JFK and how Rich helped me out. Amazing though that you could not uncrate it there and drive away...
