but we should have, what, 10-12 inches of ice where we were riding last weekend right?
love this single digit weather and no snow.

We should. I need to get out and drill though. From what the fishermen are saying, the entire west shore is completely fooked with the wind shift last week. With Nathan in wrestling and Bob in MKE, my local spotters aren't around for daylight drilling. I don't want to venture out by my lonesome.

I'll be out Sunday. The boy has a BB tourney on Saturday. Hopefully with a front tire that holds air this time. I didn't think I needed a rimlock in the front.. Lesson learned..

I will be out sunday as well. may head to mke saturday.
Due to the cold I have yet to get my pipe or oil changed on the mxc. Hopefully Saturday afternoon.
may bring both bikes and swap wheels for a back to back comparison. Initial thoughts are much less shifting on the exc, and not nearly the low end snap.

Is the ice ok to ride up there?
Or is it all cracked up?

If it isn't rideable, it could be a good weekend for the Rock Lake Open Invitational.

What are you riding these days Papa? last time I talked to ya, you were parting out a grenaded 450 orange bike, guessing Clark talked you into a 300.

I picked up a 300 a couple years ago. Just can't beat a 300 EXC. I picked up Brownsvillians DRZ-e for dual sports too.

I'm looking for a nice DRZ 400 right now, would be a great bike to put on the back rack of my camper, Mrs. Moose loves dual sporting with me.

Looks like the 300 is out of order till parts show. a couple balls went inside the hub when the bearing let go and shredded the spacer tube thing and also wrecked the wheel spacer part. I'll still go out and drill and if enough I can plow.

A Fond du Lac man is lucky to be alive after spending 30 to 45 minutes late Friday in the icy waters of Lake Winnebago when his snowmobile broke through an area of thin ice.
