Find a close enough matching strap (one with the exact same buckle brand would be best, but possibly hard to find). I happen to have a bunch of similar ones around. Mine were longer than needed, but it's easy to cut them down when you determine correct size. 1 foot is probably minimum, 1.5 probably close to right, longer if you want to strap stuff on top.

in this case the two ends here wouldn't actually snap together since the are different brands. I've swapped out the female end with the one on the bag starp and now the two straps buckle together, but not to each other as original. This is where it would be nice to get exactly the same buckle (Scribe, any chance we can source them from you?)

Push the strap up from the bottom of the Dring and then pust the two ends up through the loop and cinch tight at appropriate lengths.

The buckles can now be attached and undone to open the bags without having to rethread the straps through the Dring, and you have enough strap to over stuff the bags if needed and still secure them.

    Hope this helps.

Ive run to the grocery store and pack these things up to the brim but always wished the straps were a little longer. Thanks for the idea!

You mentioned "stay tuned" for a smaller version of the panniers back in Feb. Any movement on this?

'Just had a slow speed slide on some gravel on the right side- tore off the lower D-ring & ate through some of the bag corner...

Will you sell a single - side replacement bag?

I'll check to see if I have any samples or demos I could sell singly. Might be slightly used.

That would be great. No worries on the not-quite-new status, the one I have now has a nice patina.

Of the bag? Sure. It rode the rest of an 1800 mile ride with honor.

    Howdy folks:
I'll be out riding, then moving, so the store is closed until August. If you put in an order before Monday morning, July 17, you'll get your stuff. Otherwise check back in a couple weeks, and happy trails.

It is almost September and the website says "we will be closed until August". I would like to buy another bag as my current one is done after 4 rides and several crashes...totally my fault.

I ended up getting the Nelson Riggs Deluxe bags because I needed them this weekend, the BRSC material is much thicker.

Errrm, uh, yeah. Site is still closed. I'll fire it back up this weekend. Life has been insane these last few weeks. Starting to settle down now, but all my stock is still in storage. I can dig it out as needed, though.

Meantime, if you ever need something you can always message me here and I can send a PayPal invoice.

    hey man,
i must admit to being mighty impressed by your panniers. they have a simplicity and straightforward and ruggedized aspect that looks quite appealing.
    a couple questions please?
    1. if anyone is running these on an r100gs would you mind pm ing me with info?
    2. i would just about die for a set of tank panniers like this. i know this is probably not on the top of your mind but i wanted to plant the thought. not much for the airheads in tank panniers afaik and your product is mighty appealing...
    again - mighty impressed,
    jon
