nice work on your bike. like what you have done.
I like the tank on the CCM.... not much else.
Indeed. I got my deposit refunded and in thinking of building something better and with the help of a stateside inmate next project will be a Kenny Roberts rep with a 421cc stroker Banshee motor and a Co-Built frame. CCM assured me it would be a numbered 150 off release, then they announced a run of 'scramblers' with the same frame....Some pissed off customers. I'm well out of that and happy carrying on making my own.
If you're building with a banshee motor... it will be better automagically.
I'm automagically trying to buy my engine parts from a guy down near LA, what is it with the California air that slows people down to a crawl slower than a tortoise on methadone?
Hey now... we get shit DONE up here in the San Francisco Bay Area (hint: Apple, Google, Adobe, FaceFuck, Twatter, etc... )
LA, totally different story. It's the hip chill mellow. Might as well be Jamaica. No problem, mon.
Well, it is Malcolm X day and all that.
There is life in CA! Just been sent these crank porn pics
Right on! That should stay together. :)
Saw this superbadass rz350 on the freeway today.
Good stalking, I'm hoping mine will look more like this ....
I like yours better. But the rz on the hitch rack had a lot of nice bits on it.
Yep, radial gold spot calipers, Ti pistons, nice. I am though planning on selling some major internal organs for this next bike.
Banshee motor, hopefully nickel frame?, what glass are ya gunna use? Champion style?
Gunna run real brakes front and rear?
I'm in so cal, I know flat track is pretty switched on in the U.K. These days, but if there's anything u need from my end of the pond, let me know.
What the hell is wrong with Trump voters?
Thanks. I also thought nickel plate the frame, Wicked motorsport are sorting me out with the 4mm stroked crank with maxload bearings, serval cub jugs, their own cool head, wiseco pistons, 34mm keihins, V-force reeds and a few other bits and pieces, another inmate is very kindly sourcing me a bottom end RZ motor. We don't get the Banshee in the UK so we don't get all the goodies for RZ motors.
Co-built will make me a frame
I can get these in the UK
I like these ceriani reps, actually Canadian, supplied in the UK by Maxton who do some really nice shocks too. I may even go with a solid disc..
I just picked these up, 38mm, probably Italian, which I like a lot, very light as well.
And I really want the 18" Morris mags.
When I've sold a Kidney and got stuff together I hope to build it over the winter.
Sorry, I don't know
this is gunna be GREAT!!
A couple of freshly skimmed heads for my birthday
I made up a ring compressor from nylon with a taper on it to match the barrels, should work better than enlisting wife help leading to near divorce.
I can't work out how the one head bolt was loose I don't like the Harley torque to a pattern and value then a 1/4 turn on all. I think I might go up to the value recommended for the Cometic gasket and forget the 1/4 turn, a little research needed. I'll leave them a day to settle then try to put some heat on then check torque again. I'm also making up an extended spigot socket to sneak under the rockers so I can check them after running for a while.
None of that today though, many drinks and much food to be had
