Have a great trip Russ,
I'm bloody jealous as I sit here in Wanganui waiting for the bloody rain to clear.
Are you doing it on your own, or do you have a tour guide?
Those couple of photo's you have put up, are similar to the scenic gravel roads in the NZ South high country.
Enjoy the ride and safe travels.
Doing it on our own, group of 6 on 5 bikes.
ADVrider was the main source of info, over a years planning to get to see the best the area has to offer.
Happy to share trip info, if anyone wants it when we get back.
Hey Russ are you following the Dakar. I am heading over with 5 other riders to follow the race in 2 days time. Would be great to catch up with you over there.
Lucky Bugga Russ. Enjoy.
Just stole this off Russ' SmugMug
Obviously the blokes over there who design roads all own bikes,
Not this time, we are doing the south trip.
It has been great, we will be back, and will catch up with the Dakar another time.
