Or, more accurately, a link that was passed to me :D
Remember the tough looking RV (for lack of a better word) that I took pics of on the road to Haines?

Arno, you've been thanked by many, and deserve it. I'm speachless by your report! Thanks for taking the time to share your craziness w/ us, you've posted one of the best ride reports, if not the best, ever. I enjoyed the comic relief you and Matt brought to the ferry.

Tu-f'n-hounds (Matt/rodeo clown), you saw your share of crazy "animals". This one is a photo and a half!

Wow! People are still reading this drivel? :rofl
Once again, thanks everyone for the kind words :clap

You guys in Tufelhunden's list and all the other folks I crossed paths with is what made this such a fantastic trip. I thank you all.

Velvet, that's one mean looking dog man. I sure wouldn't want to see it for real.

Rebecca, it was way cool of you to hang with us and see us off. Still wish I could have convinced you to come along :D but you certainly had your own adventure :clap

J, how could you read this in a day - it took twice as long to write it as it did to ride it!

NX650, anything you do that is more than what you did last time is an adventure. Whatever you have going in your mind, just do it.

Direwolf, you're my biggest supporter. You too, Brad21. Thanks! :freaky

And thanks too, to all the folks that dropped feedback. I wish I had responded to each of you... don't think it wasn't appreciated.

Stay tuned for a ride report that has me riding to a wedding in Ixtapa, Mexico this coming February. I'll be nice and filthy for it. I'm going to meet up and ride with old friends, get drunk, chase women, get arrested, etc. It should be a good one! :huh

I just saw a most excellent show on the History Channel called Alaska: Dangerous Territory. This episode was all about the Haul Road (the road pretty much from Fairbanks to Prudhoe Bay), its history and stuff. Lot's of neat footage. Well done. :clap

I'm ready to go back! At a minimum to Hyder, AK to get Hyderized :huh :D :rofl :evil :deal :eek1 :lol3 :clap :freaky

Nice to see this RR resurface...it will be two years since we did that ride pretty soon.

A very enertaining AK. Report. I also highly recommend the Alaska Ferry as the experience is awesome. Scenery beyond words for those who care about that and not just riding with there eyes closed. Open them and you will see landscapes that seem un-real. It is all part of it.

    Brau,
Just turned 41 on the 9th...wow, 40 just screamed by!!! Someone said to me the other day that 40 is the new 60...hahahaha! What??? And I've heard that if you ride a KTM ADV at 40 your age actually reverts to 18 and you start all over!!! Woo Hoo!!!

    Arno! Are you here????
