Opportunity knocked, so we're down here just outside Savannah now.

Drop a brother a line if you are in the area and anything airhead is going on or if you're travelling through.

Post-move, I finally got time to work on the charging system and then take the black pig out for a ride. Found a nice trail around a lake in the woods and snapped some pics for your enjoyment.

    No roads you say?
    Knobbies. Dog will hunt.
What a beautiful day for being December.

That is a beautiful /2. Those side cases remind me of an airstream Rv. Did you build those yourself?

That bike is sure going to look nice down by the lighthouse at St Simons Island....

I have only been to Savannah once, downtown is very quaint, but then I have a Georgia heart.

Damn, the Air Force seemed to lose a lot of those back then. We stopped near Florence SC at the roadside marker for another one that landed on a guy's chicken coop nearby.

HiYa Matt :wave Congrats on the move. The /2 is looking great as always. Does the move mean your vacation time has been cut? :lol3 Hope you can make it up for the Fling, and/or Fall Rally in Tellico this year...... :freaky

Did not build them myself. Inmate Carl designed and supplied the racks. The boxes are DARR brand.

I'll keep a most careful eye out for any and all incendiary devices.

Dunno on the fling this year Booj. I'm about 4 hours further away. Just have to play it by ear.

You guys swing by anytime. Don't hold your breath on the sailboat Brad:lol3

Calling a Mark 15 hydrogen bomb with a design yield of 3.8 megatons "an incendiary device" is somewhat of an understatement. :D They never found it, so it's still there buried somewhere in the mud off Tybee Island. I've been keeping a watchful eye out for fermenting vessels, but big glass carboys are pretty rare down here. Meade there shall be.

Sweet pix, very nice bike. I got family in Greenvile, was just down there last fall. Decent town, with what seems like lots of theaters and restaurants for its size. Savannah I also have visited, cool old town with nearby beaches...
I, too, grow tired of Northern Winter. Nice to see some sunshine pix of guys out riding right now.

    Thanx.

    already do. :cry

But we'll still have fun for a couple years exploring and finding good food and fun down here in the dirty south.

What I wouldn't give to be able to call airstrikes on paper mills globally. :huh

    Good point.
Instead I'll move them all to the North Arabian Gulf region.

My wife always joked that we lived close enough to Asheville that on days we felt like lazy hippies and didn't feel like bathing it was perfectly acceptable. "It's ok! We're within 1 hour of Asheville!"

Now we can even skip the Tom's and with the surrounding Eau de Papel, noboby even notices. :lol3
Dirty South indeed. Where's that Pigpen emoticon?

Hey Matt, shouldn't be too bad from Savannah to the Fling. Last May I departed my campsite about 20 miles west of Augusta/Ft Gordon and made it to the BRMC in 5hrs 03mins with a 40 minute meal stop in Brevard included in that. 178 miles for that leg all on surface highways.
