    well the parts buying spree is over and now is the time for the build and just like amerecan chopper it a late start and behind the eight ball but goin all the way:loco. last night I cut hacked and ground a lot of steel
    till 2am. today its fit and weld . the plan is for the vw frame tobe choped and going from four wheels to three and some of the custom all steel body work will be done:eek2 the engine will be in for mock up to day but frist thing this morning Mrs Friar has a few honny-dos:crash got to keep her happy! the plan is to show it off dering the ride in and bar-be-qe here at my place the Abbey May 14th see my web site for more details www.abbeyauto.com will be posting photos soon:thumb

    This would make a better show than Orange County Choppers. The Mrs. could be Paul Sr. and Friar could be Jr. :lol3 :lol3

    Good to see you got everything under control Frier, been a great riding season over here, got in my usual 20,000km on the 3 bikes, new DR650 is just starting to free up nicely, off to Australia 2morrow for 8days. Might put in 2 weeks work and then start packing for D2D. Work has been hectic b4 easter , Cheers Toddy

    Im at Philip Island at the mo, world super bikes 2 morrow and sunday, will book my tickets when I get home next week , looking at either 1st or 8th may Christchurch to LA they are sunday arrivals in LA. Cheers Toddy

    What all bikers must do is tell the boss, the cook, and the handbrake that there lucky to have us there some of the time . Once they have accepted that you just stretch out the time away and fit in a few more trips each year. Easy mate. Just home from Australia. great trip. The Suzukis are kicking ars on world superbike scene , booked the motel room for the moto gp there in Oct. Will be booking trip to D2D tomorrow night. Cheers Toddy
