Building a sidecar camper

    My first thought was to have the Tent Cot type arrangement, the next thought was to have a camper type top made at a canvas shop. At $2,000+ it seemed a bit steep, so I am redesigning so that my mattress/bag/and pillow have a storage space on top at the back. New design also allows me to build lighter. This will be on a C50 Suzuki Boulevard.

    No pics at present, but as work progresses I will upload a few.

    I found this simple idea that should fit what you are thinking about. They can be made of plywood skinned with FRP or made of Alumilite or made of a styrofoam sandwich with 1/8 or 1/4 ply on the inside and alu or FRP on the outside.
